Centrum Systems Incorporated integrated software products meet the "Section 508" technical standards of 1194.21 (Software Applications and Operating Systems), 1194.22 (Web-based Internet Information and Applications), 1194.23(Telecommunications Products), 1194.24(Video and Mutli-Media Products), 1194.25 (Self-Contained, Closed Products), 1194.26 (Desktop and Portable Computers), 1194.31 (Functional Performance Criteria), and 1194.41(a) (Information, Documentation and Support), as and to the extent stated in the accompanying Voluntary Product Accessibility Template ("VPAT"). We therefore certify compliance with the following solicitation requirement, or similar solicitation requirements:

 

"All electronic and information technology (EIT) procured through this Statement of Work/Bill of Materials and any resulting contract, task order, delivery order, or purchase order must meet the applicable accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194, unless an agency exception to this requirement exists. 36 CFR 1194 implements Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and is viewable here. The contractor shall indicate for each line item in the schedule whether each product or service is compliant or noncompliant with the accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194. Reservations Web Application

 

The Reservations Web Application subsystem is a web-based system, which is accessible from any computer worldwide with Internet access.  Its main purpose is to allow anyone to make their own Texas park reservation.  It can also be configured to allow purchase of selected products via the Internet.  The Reservations Web system’s secondary function is to provide password protected levels of functionality that enables park functional staff, Contact Center staff, TPWD financial staff and Park Division headquarters staff to configure the system as well as to make reservations or order products for park customers.

The Campground Manager system is a web-based point of sale (POS) system, which provides password-protected levels of functionality that enables park functional staff to manage campground and day use activity.  The system shall assist in campground check-in, checkout, and campground assignments for both reservation and walk-in customers. Besides providing tracking of all park use activities the Campground Management system is the gateway for Park Business sales and accounting functionality.

(b) Applications shall not disrupt or disable activated features of other products that are identified as accessibility features, where those features are developed and documented according to industry standards. Applications also shall not disrupt or disable activated features of any operating system that are identified as accessibility features where the application programming interface for those accessibility features has been documented by the manufacturer of the operating system and is available to the product developer.

(c) A well-defined on-screen indication of the current focus shall be provided that moves among interactive interface elements as the input focus changes. The focus shall be programmatically exposed so that Assistive Technology can track focus and focus changes.

In order to minimize training time and facilitate use of the application, VPS-POS always keeps the current focus on one and only one element/area on the screen called “User Entry Area”.

(d) Sufficient information about a user interface element including the identity, operation and state of the element shall be available to Assistive Technology. When an image represents a program element, the information conveyed by the image must also be available in text.

(e) When bitmap images are used to identify controls, status indicators, or other programmatic elements, the meaning assigned to those images shall be consistent throughout an application's performance.

Business Manager Web (VPS-BM-Web)

 

Business Manager Web is the central administrative software that will provide the State with park automation, monitoring and reporting functions. Such functions include: monitor and control of all terminals deployed throughout the parks, merchandising, inventory management and control, cash management, accounting, and reporting.
